Springfield VA Real Estate and Community Info 

Springfield VA is a very popular place to live or frequent for many reasons!

The Springfield area is especially popular with shoppers and commuters.  The Springfield Mall sits at the heart of all the shopping and is the topic of current great  discussion as a major renovation plan is in it's future.  A website  just for the proposed Springfield Town Center will  give you an insight into the office space and residential  changes planned for the area.  The Mall currently is home to a host of  major retail stores and is surrounded by establishments such as Best  Buy, DSW, Barnes and Noble, Bertucci's Italian Restaurant, TGI  Friday's, Ulta, Home Depot, Old Navy and much much more!

Springfield is also quite conveniently reached by the Fairfax County Parkway, and is home to the Franconia/Springfield Metro, VRE, and Greyhound Station.  An  enormous parking deck, as well as additional parking options at the  Springfield Mall, serve thousands of commuters every day.  Also easily  accessed are I-95 and "the mixing bowl" for those traveling on I-495 or I-395.

All of these wonderful benefits are near one exit, and Springfield still has much more to offer!  South Run Rec Center offers a state of the art fitness facility with classes, racquetball,  and a large indoor pool as well as outdoor playing fields. Springfield  schools also tend to be popular as part of the top-ranked Fairfax County Education System.
